The is a specialized variant of the standard 911 series, specifically modified for users who require forward momentum without the physical strain of lifting the frame.
- Front-Wheel Castors: It uses 5-inch (127 mm) solid PVC wheels. These are “non-swivel” (straight) wheels designed to provide a stable forward track, preventing the walker from “veering” to the side on smooth indoor floors.
- Chassis Construction: Built from 1-inch diameter aluminum tubing. This provides a high strength-to-weight ratio, allowing the device to support up to 150 kg (approx. 330 lbs) while weighing only about 2.5 to 3 kg.
- U-Shaped Enhanced Clearance: The cross-frame is set higher and wider (U-shaped) compared to older H-frame models. This allows the user to bring the walker closer to their body, which is critical for providing a stable “lever” when transitioning from a sitting to a standing position.
Maintenance Tip
To keep the walker in top condition, regularly check the rubber tips on the back legs for wear and ensure the front wheels are free of debris to maintain smooth rotation.
